Was the perfect place for outdoor dining on a balmy night, the vibe was fabulous, staff so accomodating, friendly and fun.. The rice paper rolls were packed full of goodies, so fresh and the vermicelli salad with vege spring rolls was fresh, maybe a little noodle heavy but delicious. The mocktails are so full of flavour.. A great place…

We had an absolutely beautiful experience dining at Anh Chi Em. The food was amazing and the service was next level. Pricing is reasonable and I hold highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food superb, price so reasonable it’s crazy. The manager Jeff, could not have been more accommodating if he tried as one of our group required something out of the usual offered. Highly recommend this place. Will need cushions on the metal chairs out in the sun though as they got really hot and a traffic diversion would be great.

The experience was exceptional! Attention to detail and authentic Vietnamese food! Beautiful restaurant with great outdoor dining also. Couldn’t have felt more welcome and special from the whole team including the owner. We will definitely come back and yell all our friends.

This was my first time at this restaurant at a recommendation from a friend. They advised me that they had eaten there a couple of times and that they recommended the crab pancake. Interesting name as it came with pork and prawns in it - no crab in sight! Unfortunately I won't be recommending it as it was one of the blandest things I had ever eaten with no taste whatsoever and there were 2 prawns in it and only a few extremely thin slivers of pork and the rest was red onion and bean shoots. I went home feeling very hungry still. My friends however did enjoy what they ate which was a totally different order to mine. It seems this pancake is only available on Sunday and Thursday's for some reason but because it was Monday they said they would make it for me. We sat outside which was very noisy when people scraped their chairs and were opposite the music speaker in the doorway which made it harder to hear our conversation.

My wife and I have been regular customers at Anh Chi Em since it first opened in Highton. I honestly didn’t think it could get any better but the move to the new restaurant just a few metres from the original has seen everything go up a notch which I didn’t think could be possible. The food is just as wonderful as ever, the hospitality is amazing and the place was buzzing when we ate there last night. Indoor seating full, outside tables the same and take-away orders streaming out the door. We are so lucky to have this suburban gem in our own neighbourhood. Well done to Jeff and his team for finding another level! This is exceptional dining.

On a sunny day, eating a relaxing lunch under the shade of lovely trees in the alfresco takeaway dining area behind Anh Chi Em....perfect! The Banh Mi's are delicious!! No need to book. Enjoy!
