   A great option for those who want to catch up with friends for lunch in the CBD. Easy walking distance from Southern Cross station and various tram routes makes it very attractive for those travelling from outer suburbs or country and very popular with retirees. The food is prepared and served by students under the guidance of teaching staff. A three course meal for $40 is amazing value with high quality of food and a variety of options to select from the menu. It's a wonderful opportunity to taste some delicious dishes produced by those who may be the great chefs of the future.

   We eat at the Angliss Restaurant frequently and liove to engage with the students. On this occasion I feel the Menu and food was the best I've ever had. Service was exceptional with a special shout out to Trudy our main waitress. She was a little nervous as often works in the back of house, but she did a fabulous job. The meal is great value, on this occasion entrees were $12, and mains $22. Good selection of wines at good prices.

   Overall it was great. I will note that some things were off though. Some of the food was cold and overcooked. I ordered the octopus and I found it to be tough and overcooked. However, the presentation was spot on and it was very impressive. The dessert was great. One of my friends ordered the zucchini flower tempura and found the batter to be undercooked and an off colour. It was quite tough to cut into, so due to this I wouldn't recommend this dish. However, one thing that William Angliss always succeeds in is presentation. It's always beautiful and spot on! Only thing to improve on is the small details such as cooking time.

   The food was excellent and great value. Remembering this is run by students the service was slow as a result we did not get 4 of the items we had ordered and had to make a second selection. I would still go back again

   Great night with excellent, generous classical dishes with a twist or two. Attractive saucing and stimulating presentation. Limited wine choices but good value (and quality given the low price point), but the meals were outstanding value given the quality and effort. Essentially faultless! Service staff were friendly, attentive, prompt but unobtrusive. Made a small change in a dish without hesitation. The restaurant was peaceful and quiet (despite plenty of customers), which is such a rarity these days. Four of us could engage and talk quietly...! Best dining secret in Melbourne, and a credit to WAI training. Congratulations to all students and staff involved.

   It is always a memorable experience dining at William Angliss. Food is always fantastic and the students do a great job as they hone their skills. It’s fine dining with an added element of fun and support for the young people as they complete their culinary and hospitality education.

    A pleasant experience was had by my husband and I. The food was excellent, the honey pannacotta with toasted granola and pecans was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time. A totally enjoyable meal. We thought the chefs and hospitality staff did a wonderful job. We will definitely return. Thank you
