We dined before going to a show at Virginia Repertory Theatre and it was our first visit. I highly recommend the green curry. It was a giant bowl of vegetables with a hot savory broth with just a touch of spicy heat. You can add more kick with a variety of sauces and table seasoning. We enjoyed happy hour pricing for drinks and appetizer pork soup dumplings with fresh green onion. The large plates were so big that we had leftovers for another meal at home.

We went out before going to a Samara Joy concert. The place was wonderful. We got to catch the end of the Happy Hour, which got us a BOGO deal on the dumplings. They were delicious. We got 6 different ones: beef, shrimp, curry chicken, pork and chili, and two of the soup dumplings. The ambiance was great. The seats are super cute too. Perfect for a date night or a friend gathering.

Both the food and the service were absolutely wonderful! The bao buns were the star of the show, and the cocktails were fantastic. Definitely go for happy hour for BOGO dumplings.

The front area upstairs with the great window views over Broad that we used to enjoy when it was Max’s was closed with a curtain and completely empty. Instead, we were seated in a dark corner next to the bathroom so had a steady stream of people walking by our table. The food was decent but overpriced for what was served. You either have to serve great food or have great ambiance. I don’t think I’ll be back.
