   Great spot, great food but I think they are still figuring out the service. We tried to order one of their house cocktails and they were out of an ingredient, friend pivoted, i ordered a different house cocktail and they were out of an ingredient there too! There were specials listed on a mirror by the host stand, tried to order a rainbow roll from there...nope. A rainbow roll is pretty basic, you'd think they could throw one together but there was no effort to even try and guide us to something similar. All in all it seemed nobody really cared about the guest experience which is a bummer b/c the food is typically fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely.

   Took 45 minutes to get our drinks. Took almost two hours to get our food. Very poor service—waitress was nowhere to be found. Very loud, hard to have a conversation. Food was average. Wouldn’t go back.

   Super slow service. Sat at the bar while waiting for patio table and that was good service. But the patio service was very slow.

   Terrible experience. Even called to confirm before given it was raining and was told that they’d make a note next to our reservation to try to grab us a table inside around our time. Couldn’t seat us within 1.5hrs of our reservation time. The hostess claimed that they sent out a notification to all patio reservations and that was not the case. Doesn’t make me want to go back.

   The most amazing service! The server gave us the best evening. The food, as always was incredible as were the drinks!

   I was very excited to try anchor sushi based on my experience with Hudson House. We ordered a handful of dishes and only 3 came out. The sushi was eeeh.. The rice was hard and thick not soft. 40 min later no food. I had to get up and look for the waitress and she told me that the kitchen was backed up. I understand that happens but it was never communicated to us. We had to cancel the other 3 dishes because it was taking to long. The waitress apologized and comp a round of drinks for us which was nice. We were just very disappointed on the overall experience and taste of the rolls.

    Their "happy hour" literally only has one appetizer food item on it, and that's it. The sushi rolls are also sub-par. Go for the drinks/ambiance. Not the food.
