   Love this place, but I found it’s an unfair practice to move customers to less comfortable seats just because they didn’t order food. The reservation was late in the evening, but we were told we couldn’t sit at the original table we booked (booking had no indication that you must order food)

   We had a lovely evening… interesting delicious food.. our ordering helped by charming and experienced staff. Yes.. a bit noisy but it’s to be expected as it’s a small space..

   A recent experience at Amy Austin was rushed and unrelaxing. We were hurried out the door after 90mins (left at 10pm). Dishes that we had not finished were removed from us twice; the second time we remonstrated that we would like to finish our plates. The food is good, the hurried service was not.

   2nd time at Amy Austin and it was as good as the first. It’s a small plates restaurant with everything arriving at different times, so you need to order about 3 plates each and just go with the flow. Every dish is packed full of flavour and service is warm and friendly. Highly recommend
