Perched on the western corner of Thames Street and located in the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Museum building with the Living Classrooms Foundation, Ampersea dining room, patio, and event spaces offer a stunning combination of panoramic harbor views, impeccable service, and delectable dishes. During our busy season the restaurant has policies in place that may affect your reservation. please review the following:

We were first time guests and enjoyed experience very much. The manager, Joey, was very thoughtful and attentive to all patrons and seemed very invested in a great dining experience for all.

AMAZING!! I came here for my birthday and had such an incredible time. The food was soooo good especially the mussels! Our waiter was super friendly and checked on us often, which made the experience even better. A special shoutout to the manager, Joey Gavino. He was absolutely excellent! So kind, funny, and made my birthday extra memorable. #bestmanagerever

The restaurant and food was beyond expectations!!! The wait staff and manager were very accommodating and ensured that each person in our party wanted for nothing. We have a new favorite restaurant!!!

Wonderful experience at this waterfront restaurant! The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious and the whole staff was welcoming and accommodating. I must mention our server Josh was excellent. The experience was made by the manager Joey. He checked on us continuously throughout the evening, shared personal stories, and took group photos for us. Joey made us feel like family. I will definelty return to Ampersea if I’m back in Baltimore.

Customer service was outstanding (Thank you Joey and waiter Malik) Food was excellent….Crab dip w/pretzel 10/10, Chilean sea bass w/shrimp and rice 10/10; fried green tomatoes 7/10, only because I’m not a big tomato person but my friend who is a tomato lover enjoyed them. Oh and the strawberry ginger lemon drop mocktail - yummy 10/10 :)
