   Fabulous New Years Eve dinner, food was outstanding, our server, John, was perfect. Great cocktails. Very enjoyable evening. I highly recommend this great restaurant and bar.

   I was visiting from out of state, and I have been to the Americana before. Online I noticed they had a special New Year’s Eve brunch. I booked for a party of three. When we arrived at the restaurant, I noticed we were given regular menus. I explained that I made reservations for the brunch. The server explained that they were not doing the brunch. I was confused and showed her my reservation on my phone. She apologized and said they weren’t doing the brunch. We spoke to the manager to express our disappointment, I also showed him my reservation and he said that I should have been notified about the cancellation of the brunch , which I was not. All we got was an apology. The food and service were good but I specifically went there for the brunch. I feel that I should have been compensated somehow. I spent a lot of money just for breakfast. Thinking back , we should have left and went elsewhere. It clearly was a mistake on their part, I did not receive a phone call and I even called to change the time for the reservation and was not told that there wasn’t a special brunch. How sad the manager didn’t feel that it wasn’t necessary to compensate us in any way.

   We (2) were seated in diner area though I had a reservation and requested to be seated in the area where the band… The hostess was otherwise very accommodating and helped me with my guest who was physically challenged. A real plus.

   Everything was very nice with one exception: since I made a reservation for the Jazz Sunday Brunch, I was hoping to sit someplace where I could actually see and hear the music. We were seated close to the entrance door and could not see or hear the music.

   We had a great time! DJ was awesome - played songs that are a vibe but didn’t want to make me get up and dance in the middle of restaurant. Food was fresh and and portion was great for pricing. Wish the service was a little more attentive when it came to another round of drinks and check.

   Can't believe I did not try this restaurant sooner!! Food was delicious and service is top notch. Definitely a neighborhood gem and a definite go-to place where everyone can get something that they like!!
