   Best restaurant in Memphis! Everything was exceptional. The ambience, the staff and the food were way above were amazing. Our server, Kelsie was knowledgeable, charismatic and professional. Date night, girls night or any night!

   Waiter needs to advise that duck entree takes longer to prepare. We had to wait for this entree, which was quite good. We had requested a quiet table, but were shown to a noisy one; however, this was soon rectified. I sense more staff training is needed. Decor and ambience were first rate.

   Music a tad loud but a wonderful night, love their service and attention to detail and of course the food was awesome. Great pre theater experience

   Morgan told me we could have the burger in the dining room after 9pm. That is incorrect. If you want to try their burger, you need to be seated in the bar.

Morgan misspoke about the specific details, and while we believed we had resolved the misunderstanding after speaking with you that evening—along with our AGM, Henry, personally inviting you back to enjoy the burger at the bar on us—it’s clear you are still left disappointed, as our intention was to ensure you felt heard and cared for. Due to the limited quantity we prepare, the burger is exclusively available at the bar on Fridays & Saturdays at 9:00 PM to preserve the unique late-night ambiance of our bar experience.     We’ve been to Memphis a bunch in the past and found Amelia Gene’s on a recent trip. I will always make a point to come here whenever I visit Memphis again. If you want an outstanding meal, great selection, and unbeatable service, you need to come here. It’s a classy but comfortable setting. Great music playing over speakers but not too loud to where you can’t have a conversation at the table. The building it’s in has been rebuilt from a 1800’s blacksmith’s foundry. Still has some old equipment to keep its heritage. It’s a must visit when you come to Memphis. We got the cheese cart, hummus starter, ravioli (more like onion soup in a lasagna noodle bowl, fabulous). Get the carrot cake! You won’t be disappointed!
