   Don’t waste your hard earn money there… Bad quality and expensive for the food we had. A 14oz prime rib with basically 7oz of fat.

   table was set for 3. We are a party of 4 and made this reservation 1 month ago. Took 39 mins to get a waiter to come to our table. Even longer to get a set up for 4. Probably the worst service I can ever recall from anywhere. Food was just ok. Nothing to make us want to return. Sorry folks, but gotta' tell it like it is.

   Overall we had a wonderful experience. Turkey was a little cold. That is the only complaint I had. Service was excellent. Mohammed was a very good waiter. The hostess was very warm and welcoming. Definitely a must do again.

   We booked a table indoors for Christmas Eve dinner. The menu was limited, but that was fine. Options included salmon, prime rib and turkey. Prime rib portions were 14 oz and the kitchen refused to offer a smaller portion or allow us to split an entree. My dinner was cold (both the prime rib and the mashed potatoes and broccolini) and the prime rib could have used a more generous portion of au jus. One of my sons ordered the salmon, which he enjoyed, though the serving of salsa/chutney that accompanied it was small. The restaurant added a 20% tip, though there were only 3 of us dining. Overall, a disappointing experience for a $280+ meal, including tip.

   Lovely experience at Ambler Texas Kitchen! Got to sit outdoors and had a lovely view of the Riverwalk and see a wedding on Marriage Island. Had a delicious breakfast and great service.

   We arrived 10 minutes prior to reservation for breakfast. Restaurant was not very busy and no one was manning the host station. We along with a family ahead of us waited and waited. Finally our soon to be server yelled that someone was coming. A man appeared, took our name and then again we waited for the actual host to arrive. She was not friendly and didn’t say a word to us. When seated our table was already set with what was supposed to be a place setting for two. There was only one coffee cup and saucer and it was filthy and lipstick stained. I put it to the side to give to the waitress. She came and tried to make a joke about it and took it away. When she brought over a new one that too was lipstick stained. Not sure why she didn’t bother to check before grabbing it. House coffee was very bitter. My husband loves black coffee and even said he didn’t like it. The food overall was very good. The service was extremely lacking. With my third coffee and saucer brought over it came with no spoon for stirring in cream/sugar. My husband received no fork and we had no pen from waitress for the check. I would probably not go here for dinner based on the service alone.

    Repeat customers - we eat here every time we are in town. Excellent appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts. Great service as always.
