   Advice: - dont have the waiters first words be there is a 90min cap to our table. Maybe tell them 1 hour in? Your restaurant presents itself as being upscale and accommodating. Yet this immediately makes me feel unwanted and like I’m part of your assembly line of customers. Ironic considering how empty it was at 5pm on a Friday. - don’t use a portable checkout device. This is fine dining, and you already had a nice idea for the magnetic checkout books. Why ruin that concept by having the waiter fumble with the electronic kiosk in 1 hand and open the magnetic book in the other, only to tap it in front of me and present me with a 30%, 25%, or 20% tip option. Because I sure as hell didn’t want to tip that much after my experience. - tell your customers what complimentary food is coming in advance so they don’t order practically the same thing and find out it’s free anyways. We ordered a burrata pizza. And then when we were nearly done a full plate of bread, olive oil and balsamic was given to us. I already ordered and paid for bread with oil and balsamic. Great to know it was a free option the whole time. Also it comically took up the remaining space on the table. - if your restaurant is mostly empty, sit customers farther away from eachother. Do not sit them at the one table that is in the way of any servers carrying food from the bar area. - if you have a drink you advertise as being bright purple, maybe have it be purple and not orange (maybe I was brought the wrong drink?) - your tables are small, have your waiters remove the menus, or leave 1 menu, once you order so I’m not putting my small plate of pizza on top of it because it’s the only available space. - Consider moving the light fixture in the middle of the table to the side of the table so customers can share food.

   Very nice first experience. This is an interesting find and kind of hidden in a speakeasy kind of way. Definitely high energy and quite loud. Two great bartenders behind a very small bar area. Menu is somewhat limited, but does have interesting small plates and wood fired pizza's. Vegan Cream of Mushroom soup was outstanding. Ciabatta sandwich was very good but nothing special. Burrata Pizza had all the right ingredients, but I wish is would have been a bit more charred and crispy. Dough is quite thick, though fresh. Perfect Manhattan hit the spot.

   Wanted to check out Amazonia as it seemed like a cool concept, food was solid and drinks were very interesting. Our reservation was at 7 (we were on time) and 30 minutes into our meal (right after we ordered dinner) our server told us they would need the table back at 8:30 since they “overbooked for the evening”. We found it odd but said ok, cut to the server then bringing it up at least 2 if not 3 more times. If we hadn’t been spending money I’d understand as I’m also a server, but our check was nearly $300. At 8:31 we are getting up and they are quite literally begging us to leave (when we clearly were). Could’ve been handled way differently and an unfortunate way to end the evening there.

   First time there. Great ambiance, drinks, food--tasty, nuanced, imaginative. (Especially loved the pistachio pizza.). We will definitely return.

   My friends and I had a great time. I wish the drinks were a little stronger but they were delicious and the food was great.

    In terms of overall vibe, this may the coolest restaurant in Cleveland. Service was also super professional. During our visit, our reserved table was not ready, as the prior dinners were still there. We were given seats at the bar with a round of shots, on the house. Food and drinks were also up to par, we had the pistachio pizza, and ciabatta sandwich, both were excellent.
