   We wanted something special for my daughter's 22nd birthday celebration, and we all love a High Tea........so we booked Amazing Grace for a table of 6 people. We drove from SE suburbs to Ascot Vale. After seeing pictures of the front room we thought that's where we'd be, but instead it was room at back with concrete floor. There's no menu showing online what High Tea included, just prices. It was very disappointing, the food didn't include anything hot like savouries, just sandwich tiny sweets and one scone each for $81.00 per head. We didn't realise that after your first coffee or tea, anything more than that you had to pay extra. Nothing at all was done for my daughter's birthday, I advised online it was a special occasion. We had high hopes for Amazing Grace, but were all so disappointed.

   Overall a pretty nice experience- a big downside was the service though. Staff were nice but there were not enough working. We got our tea an hour after our food, which defeated the purpose of going to a high tea. Food was very nice though and the perfect amount per person.

   We booked this experience for a very special occasion and were incredibly disappointed. They were not prepared for our arrival. We set our own table in a hurry before the guest of honour arrived. The tables around us were still dirty from the day before. No one explained the process of the brunch. The food was tasty, however, not worth the cost per head. We had to flag down the waiter for tea and coffee every single time. We were the only people in the entire restaurant - you would think this would warrant some attentive service.

   This cafe has moved to new location. I have been to the previous location too, don’t know if the management has changed now. I think ambience, food quality n taste everything was better at the old location. Customer service was really good but I think ambience n food quality needs improvement. Thanks

   It's a lovely place but the scones were dry rocks. And the rest of the items you could buy and put in a tray for a lot less. Nothing special here.

   I would not recommend amazing Grace to anybody First of all they allowed me to book a 330 sitting when the shop closes at 4 pm Took my money Had three days to contact me to tell me about the mistake they had made regarding time. I heard nothing until I called them on the day regarding my booking When I told her I could not attend the appointment at 2 pm she Wouldn’t listen to me or give me my money back . Kept demanding that I take a voucher. She told me that she knew her rights. Customer service is horrendous. Now I’m going to consume to try and get my money back. Second of all, they send you an address on your receipt for a place in Rose Street Not the address where the cafe is. Don’t waste your money. Whatever you do, do not book . This company knows exactly what they’re doing allowing people to book times that are out of shop hours just so they can keep your money

   Not enough staff. They were working hard, but we stood at the entrance waiting for a while before being seated, and the child’s seat was not set, despite TWO phone calls to make sure the child seat was booked. Then we had to “look hungry” to get served any drinks. The childrens menu was odd, and the child wasn’t able to eat the cakes (dark chocolate), so ate off the adults High tea plates, thus I missed the lemon tart I was looking forward to :( The sandwiches were a little dry and bland re the fillings. Beautiful settings and ambiance. Need more staff before I recommend for a friend.

    Amazing Graze was a beautiful venue to have a early Mother’s Day high tea with my Mum and girlfriends. Food was delicious and the service was amazing (sorry for the pun!)
