I've been here before so I know the service is usually on point, but for Valentine's Day, the kitchen may have been a bit overwhelmed. There were a few mistakes and long lags between our dishes. But the food is excellent, our server was very nice and overall it was a lovely evening.

Decent overall. The food was good, service was excellent. I feel like for restaurants like this, the price determines the evaluation. I wouldn't say its way too expensive or overpriced, especially in this town, but didn't feel like we got our money's worth. Service was as good as it could get, but I've gotten better quality food even here for $115 per person. Not to say it's bad, I do want to emphasize that it was pretty decent, but at this price range you have better options in the city even in restaurants that charge 80-90 per person.

My favorite Italian restaurant in SF. Always delicious, gracious service, reasonable prices, and love, love the charming European ambiance- feels like you are transported straight to Italy.

We had a lovely time at Amarena. Fantastic wine selection. The polenta with mushrooms appetizer was amazing ! Fresh pasta and my friends osso bucco looked scrumptious. ♥️

I love this restaurant. The food is authentic, tasty and well priced. The wait staff is attentive and fun. I feel like I’m in a neighborhood trattoria in Italy when I dine here.
