                We love dining at Amalfi. The food is consistently excellent and service is attentive. Houston is fortunate to have a great Italian restaurant. The baked Alaska is delicious with a superb presentation.

                Extremely crowded and noisy Tables extremely close to each other, could hear other’s people conversation and even smell their food. Food was delicious but we will not go back

                The whole branzino in salt was to die for. Outstanding. The dessert with lots of little samples was not great. I think they had been frozen and thawed. Eduardo our server was very good.

                We needed a nice mid afternoon middle of the week meal and we knew Amalfi was open. We are monthly (at least) patrons of the restaurant but never at 3:00 PM. The just right background music and 5 table occupancy both helped the decor ( that is most likely overlooked during the 7:00 PM usually full restaurant experience) was now fully enjoyed and appreciated. The pace of work in the kitchen allowed the chef to deliver really excellent cuisine and beautiful presentations. Tuna tartare, the restaurant cured salmon on arugula salad and the perfect wild mushrooms and truffle pasta made the middle of the day repast perfect! We will try it again soon!

                A restaurant that is consistently excellent in service, food and atmosphere. The entry has been transformed into an Italian garden most effectively, so the entire experience is most transporting. The host always finds a way to accommodate our preference for a table where we can hear. Sometimes there is live music. Also, eating at the bar is fun. There is a smaller private glassed in room that is available for lunch meetings, family gatherings, or individual seating. A restaurant without issues, only enjoyment.
