Good food, good wine, good friends

Hearty meals and tasty pub and pizza classics are the order of the day. Our restaurant features Australian-Itallian classics and the relaxed friendly dining style. Suitable for families and friends alike, we can cater for groups of 2 to 60. Children are also welcome to use our TV and Games Room while parents can keep an eye on them from the table via our CCTV link.

Open for dinner from 5pm, come and say hello to our friendly staff and allow us to look after you.

    We stayed at the Alpine Retreat, and the convenience of heading downstairs for our meal was great. However, the food was a bit of a letdown—it arrived cold, which was disappointing. We were quite hungry and chose not to send it back, but frankly, we shouldn’t have been served cold food to begin with. It’s a basic expectation that was missed, which is why I’ve given an overall average rating. The location is excellent, but the dining experience needs improvement.

    On a very busy Friday night the staff were understandably very busy and were just keeping up with demand and the place was quite noisy. Despite all this our group all enjoyed their meals and we would return.

    Great to have restaurant at same location as accommodation. Staff very friendly. Food was reasonably priced especially considering location. Great that there was pizza as a cheaper option. I suffer from IBS and can't eat garlic, beans, couscous or spicy foods even though I love them so my options were few. I chose steak and salad which was quite expensive and it was over cooked and cold. The chips were cold too. Salad was lovely. The rest of the family had pizza and they said it was delicious.

    The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has old but I love the 70's charm. It is clean and tidy. It probably needs some maintenance. Our family room small but there is a games room and pool. Restaurant and bar on-site which was convenient however the young party goers were noisy each night. I'm a light sleeper. Compared to other accommodation this place is cheap. Recommend for budget conscious and young travellers wanting to meet others.
