   We took our four kids (13, 11, 9, 6) for the Alpenrose Gondola Experience and it was our favorite dinner while in Vail. The Gondolas are meant for 4 adults but they allowed us to squeeze in all 6 of us. It was tight, but not uncomfortable. The service was great, our server came often to check on us. The food was delicious and just the right amount. It's not a traditional fondue where you dip in the pot, but there is a small grill for steak/shrimp/sausage and mini trays to melt cheese with bread/potatoes/cauliflower. It ended up being cheaper than some of our other meals where the kids menu is still $20+. Highly recommended!

   A wonderful experience did not disappoint. Fabulous food, ambience service. Cannot wait to go back a big thank you to our Server Mara originally from Romania. She made my birthday extra special. Thank you

   We had a great time with this experience. We had 4 people and all 4 ordered the fondue experience. Honestly, we could probably have gotten away with only ordering 2 or 3 people's worth, as it was SO much food and lots left over. Everything was tasty, the service was very attentive, and it was so fun to have the speaker provided to listen to our own music. I was worried it would get cold as it is outdoors, but it really heats up in there with the body heat and the grill going- we had to crack the windows at one point.

   We stumbled upon this option the day before. It was a FABULOUS experience all around! The gondola was quaint and perfect for a quiet date night. They have Bluetooth speakers in each gondola for you to select your own music! We were cold once the grill turned off (we thought the grill was the heater) & realized the heater hadn’t been turned on, but that was our only negative. Just make sure to ask about the heater! Our server from Romania was lovely and very attentive and informative. There was WAY too much food, so definitely come hungry! A fun outing/event while skiing at Vail, I would highly recommend!

   The food and experience (environment) were AMAZING.. the service, not so much. We experienced almost NO service while dining actually… the beginning of this experience started with my boyfriend and I arriving 10 minutes early and being told by one of the hosts that I would be “5minutes.. 8 MAX” after checking us in and going back to talk to our server… we continue to stand there for 15 minutes before a different hosts comes up, checks us in again and telling us I’d be another 5 minutes… so we waited nearly 25 for our reserved gondola (15 minutes late of my reservation time) — the one time our server came to check on us in about 45 minutes was when he saw me struggling to get out of the gondola to ask for 2 sides of butter that I had been waiting 25 minutes to ask for. He did not check on us again either. We were completely done eating for about 10-15 minutes, just sitting there while they checking out ALL FOUR other gondolas and left us sitting there… my husband had to wave him down to attention to ask for the check. Between the extra 15 minutes waiting for out set time and gondola and 15-20 more minutes after we’d finish eating, just being ignored, caused us to have to pay $65 at the parking garage instead of $45 since we went over our 2 hours by 17 minutes. Overall, I have to rate this a 3 star because the food was genuinely AMAZING and booking the gondola was a SAVE because the inside of the restaurant was SO loud but between being led on (which costed me more money) and the lack of service while dining that I spent more money to have was pretty disappointing…

    We ate so much food and really did have a good time, but we had no room left with their delicious looking desserts. I may walk over tomorrow and get a take-home box of a few to try.
