The Monday "Last Supper" is the best value in town. For $30/person you get more than enough food for any appetite and a glass of wine and we just had a few minor issues with the food. The salad was great but we would have appreciated it on a separate plate and served family style as we think was done previously. The meatball was wonderful but the sausage was not as warm as the other food and a little tough. The pasta and meat sauce were delicious but our personal preference is for a little less sauce. Overall it was a very satisfying meal with great service and atmosphere...we'll be back.

Everything was good to very good. The whole experience is just a bit overhyped. Three hundred bucks for three people which included 1 glass of wine and nobody had steak or veal chops. Just a bit much for dinner in the Allentown section of Pittsburgh .I’m glad I went.

Not what we expected. The prices do not match the experience. For example, when you order the two available pasta first course dishes, we were greeted with a young tattooed Unprofessional waitresses who had trouble pronouncing Cacio e pepe and other choice of pasta dish. They prepare the cacio e pepe by pouring what looks to be a milky cream from a nacho cheese crockpot in plain sight over a bowl of cooked linguine then they apply that in a cheese wheel as if to pass off this is how the dishes to be served. This of course will require a six dollar up charge Over the other premade pasta, which is essentially like Chef Boyardee macaroni. With regard to the Secondi they overwhelm you with up charges then overwhelm you with portions. Thick cut chicken parm with unmelted cheese. Thick cut Veal Milanese soaked in butter. One person in our party ordered the seafood Diablo. Which of course comes out more like a cioppino with a lobster not fit for outback. Lastly, as we’re sitting there, I start thinking this has to be some sort of joke. Our final bill was in the 4 to 500 range for four people, and I noticed Parmesan shakers sitting on each table as if we were in a local New Jersey pizza shop. Only thing that topped that is when they boxed up the uneaten food and the waitress came over and put all of our food on the floor in grocery store what plastic baggs. Best part of the experiences are the bus boys and assistant waiters and waitresses that run around making everything at least appear to be like you’re getting a good service.

Haven't been to AF for a while. It was good to see it pretty busy on a Tuesday. The food was good. The service was pleasant, but slow and inefficient. It took a half hour to get drinks. It took 25 minutes after we had finished our salads before we saw our pasta, and we never received our appetizers at all. When it came time to pay the check, I had to hunt down someone to take my money. When you're overpaying for Italian cuisine, the service should be spectacular.
