Alexander's Steakhouse in San Francisco offers a fine dining interpretation of a Modern American Steakhouse with hints of Japanese influences throughout our menu. Featuring classic cuts such as Ribeye, Bone-In New York and Filet Mignon, to sustainable seafood, our signature Hamachi Shot and one of the largest variety of Wagyu Steak in the U.S. We also highlight dry-aged steaks and offer the finest and most luxurious products available including two tasting menus and an award-winning wine list designed by Wine Director Maxwell Klassen.     Have been here multiple times….and every time, the food is superb, the service unmatched and though the prices are relatively high the value is tangible. Certainly above all industry average. I will continue to support this fine establishment….

    Patrick was fantastic and made us feel special and “at home”, as he said he aimed. Beautiful space, good food, and a classy vibe without the arrogance of a “stereotypical steakhouse”.

    My experience at Alexander’s was outstanding in every respect. Our server Robby was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us make our decision, and the service from the entire staff was second to none. I truly felt like a valued guest during my dinner, and never once was a need I had not instantly met. As for the food, the Hokkaido wagyu was unbelievable, and paired with the Shiga Omi wagyu was a wonderful way to get a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth steak along with something so unique and special. I highly, highly recommend others choose Alexander’s as the location for a steakhouse experience like no other. Thank you to Robby and the team for helping my wife and I celebrate our special occasion with quality service and food!

    Our dinner host was helpful throughout the night and when i had questions about the wine he brought in an expert. Food and wine 10/10 Service and staff 11/10

    Excellent food and service! Some of the best steaks we’ve had in the city. Very attentive staff. The wine selection is excellent as well.

    The food was exceptional. The steak I had was probably top 3 steaks I ever had and I’ve eaten in some of the best steakhouses in the world. That said, food pales in comparison with service. Alessandro was probably the best server I ever had. It felt like he knew my needs before I did. Highly recommend this place
