   We were new to the Sunshine Coast area and looking for a place to have a meal and drink. The Club was quite busy and the subsequent noise level was quite high in the main dining area. The battered Dory was quite nice but the Goulash was only just lukewarm warm when it arrived at the table. In future we will be searching alternative venues for dinner.

   Great location, food service was quick, the food was delicious and the portion sizes were large and they gave us a takeaway container. I would definitely come back again.

   First time eating here. Bistro is clean, well maintained, nice decor. All the hard surfaces make it quite noisy so hard to hear the conversation at times. Good range of food options with lots of gluten free options. I had a daily special of prawn, mango and avocado salad which was excellent. Husband had beer battered dory with chips and slaw. He felt too much fish and not enough chips but that's a subjective judgement. A number of interesting options on tap at the bar. Food and drink prices were very reasonable. Staff were pretty perfunctory, neither rude nor friendly. Food came out quickly. We had thought there might have been a nice view of the beach etc but it's blocked by trees.

   Lovely dining room overlooking the surf. Lovely diverse menu at reasonable prices. Oder early - kitchen closes strictly at 8pm mid-week! Worth trying for sure!

   The Alex surf club is always good. It’s hard to beat anywhere on the coast. The food is always fresh (we had the seafood basket for two this time) well cooked and the service and staff are great. It does get a bit noisy for my liking with the wooden floors. But I always go there and it never disappoints - I even have a membership until 2029.

   Fantastic experience. Just discovered this Surf Club been coming to Mooloolaba for years & never tried this club. Excellent varied menu & so good value. Prices so good. Window seat what a view. Lady on desk (sorry didn’t get her name) reserved it for us as we asked on booking. Will definitely return next visit to Mooloolaba 👍😁

    Had a lovely lunch with 7 family members from the UK. All our meals were delicious and very nicely presented. Many thanks to Sonia for finding us a quieter table.
