Whenever we go to Alder and Birch, we make it a point to ask for Darlene. She is absolutely wonderful. She is the server who is able to check on you without disturbing you - a quality not many have. She keeps us updated on any new dishes and most importantly, she makes the meal a wonderful experience with her charm! If she is not there, we ask for Zac. This past visit we had the French Onion Soup, a Ceasar salad and the 10oz filet mignons. Everything was excellent, possibly the best meal we have ever had a the restaurant.

New York strip steak, crab cake appetizer, and chopped salad we’re all very good. Steak was cooked to perfection, but was not served sizzling hot nor on a hot plate. The service was a bit slow and and inattentive, had to wait twice to get water refilled, etc. The decor is nice but not elegant – it is in a casino, after all. They were very busy which could account in part to service being somewhat slow and inattentive.

Amazing experience. We ate at bar and really enjoyed Joey. He raised the bar at the bar. He knew amazing suggestions and cocktails to suggest to us. Joey knew the menu as well which made our dining amazing. Great place to have fun and have great dinner.

Very good experience. we arrived for happy hour the bartender Joey was great. the dinner reservation was at 6 for six people and was seated promptly food and service was as expected. this was our first visit and will surely return again

This was our second time dining at Alder & Birch and it was better than the first time! The service is great. The focaccia bread with the honey butter & pesto is delicious! The oysters were very good! The prime rib was AMAZING!! And the ribeye was so satisfying!! Will definitely return again soon!
