   It is a nice and cozy Italian restaurant. We were a big birthday group so the order took a bit of time but it is expected everywhere. Also they send us free limoncello shots as a gift, that was a very nice gesture. Overall, great place to have some authentic Italian food in Dublin.

   Myself and a friend booked and got a table immediately. We both had Calzone and it was gorgeous. Nice wine. Super friendly staff and lovely ambience. I will go back again..

   The food was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. The pizza, the pasta dishes and the desserts tasted like in Italy. The staff spoke both Italian and English, which was a plus. I had their special menu pizza and an affogato al caffè both of which were delicious.

   Food and service were great. Nice and cozy restaurant. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they brought the dessert with a candle on it and sang Happy Birthday to her. I wasn't expecting that and it was awesome. We enjoyed a lot.

   We always go to Al vesuvio when we visit Dublin and have never had a disappointing meal or experience. Always beautiful food and great friendly staff

   The food was very good and the service was fast. The space is limited so tables may feel a little cramped. The old vaulted cellar walls are lovely and add to the atmosphere . This is a very energetic place.
