   Our second dinner here in two weeks. We took visiting friends this time. Noel took care of us again and he is fantastic (i probably butchered the spelling of his name). The cannelloni specials was outstanding as was the rest of our food. We will be back before we head home.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our Wedding anniversary dinner at Al Dente Trattoria Toscana and Bar on 3/17/2025. Our first time at this wonderful eatery in the heart of Palm Springs, CA. We had the pleasure of Sabrina as our server that night and she was personable and professional. In fact, all of the several wait staff who attended to us and our needs were just as professional as Sabrina. My dining companion and I started out with a glass of pink sparkling wine to toast our 46th anniversary then began our dinner service with a delicious Mista Italiana salad and a plate of Tricolore salad. We split a plate of Pollo Marsala and an order of wonderfully earthy Risotto Tre Funghi. Both dishes were superbly presented, hot and tasted great. To accompany or entrees, we enjoyed a glass of the House Chianti. All the while during our time at Al Dente, not once were we rushed or felt like the wait staff was hovering. Professional, all around. Can’t ask for much more than that in a restaurant. All in all, we enjoyed our time at Al Dente Trattoria Toscana and Bar and will be back, soon! June and Tom S.    Food was great. Service was poor. It took forever to get cocktail order and mt friends question was never answered about if non alcoholuc beer was in stock when it was on the menu. Disappointing. Will have to 2nd guess as whether to go back.

   Always a great experience with superior service, excellent kitchen and check out the vegan friendly soup of the day. Good wine list at very reasonable prices for value. Outside patio with occasional street musicians entertaining is great fun. Inside dining when weather requires it is warm and intimate. Our favorite server Gonzalo is always on his game. Our “go to” in Palm Springs with its wonderful collection of excellent dining.

   The staff were the stars of this dining experience. My husband and I split a burrata salad and chicken parm; our friends had the artichoke chicken and frutte del mar. The dishes were average on the whole. The Burratas were good and fresh the rest of the salad was weak. The chicken parm was basic and really lacked overall flavor, as well as the crispness, of the breadcrumb coating. The mark of a real Italian restaurant is great bread, IMO, and their bread was literally inedible. The staff were lovely. Patient, so respectful and accommodating. Physically, a small, comfortable indoor space and a larger, great outdoor space. I don’t believe any of us will return.

   Great service and food. Surprisingly easy to get in for a reservation but they filled up fast. No complaints!

   My sister and I had dinner and it was so good. Great pear martini and good wine selection. Waiter was great about offering dinner suggestions and what was popular and tasty to order. I had the classic meatballs and spaghetti, very good. . My sister had the special and liked it except for a few large raw garlic slivers in her dish. Very polite and helpful staff. Would go again.

    I hadn't been to Al Dente for over 10 years and was hoping it was the same as I remembered it. Well it was! The garlic angel hair pasta with chicken was delicious. Olive oil tasted very fresh with sliced pieces of garlic! Yum! My date really enjoyed his chicken piccata. We sat outside by the heater so his dog could join us and the ambiance was nice. The tiramisu for dessert was a perfect ending. The prices are not exorbitant and everyone who served us was very professional and friendly. I will not wait another 10 years to come back! I look forward to my next visit.
