I am so glad my girlfriend and I ended up here. After a long day in the city during the holidays, we had reservations and were looking for an intimate yet engaging space. a.kitchen was exactly that. Extraordinary service, lovely win, fantastic food. We both enjoyed everything about this dinner experience, and will definitely be back! Shoutout the staff for holding the item we forgot and giving us a call, great hospitality. Side note from a boyfriend, thanks for helping me make this date night unique and fun. Thanks for not rushing our food, this place is meant for conversating and we were able to do just that! Highly recommend!

Wait staff was excellent, overall ambiance was great other than the noise level in the restaurant was too high. We started with two appetizers - the chicken liver toast and the mushrooms both plates pretty good. For the main, I ordered the beef dish, my wife ordered the branzino. We thought both dishes were underwhelming and overpriced. The wine by the glass choices were mediocre given the exorbitant price per glass. Having the extensive wine list they do, one would think there would be a better selection when ordering wine by the glass. We had high hopes for this restaurant and really hoping to have an exceptional meal based upon all the 4 and 5 star reviews. We left thinking, not the worst meals we've had for a night out, but nothing that makes us want to come back.
