   Our server was delightful and did all he could to enhance our dining experience. The food however was simply awful. We were stunned. Very rarely so we leave uneaten food on our plates. We did not find one dish to be delicious. Shocking why this restaurant is so crowded.

   The food was pretty good but for that caliber and price point the setting is absolutely inadequate. Inside was super noisy and nothing special in terms of decor and the outside was dark and pretty casual for table side presentation of signature dishes. Also the drinks menu should be expanded. Sauvignon blanc options for Marlborough was very mild and choices for IPAs except for Jone Japanese which was also rather light. Service was ok but again not to the level of the price point.

   Great experience at Arika. The waiter guided us on what to order and each plate had a delicious unusal experience . He did not make us order too much .. it was just perfect and really good. Can’t wait to go back!

   Dining at Akira Back in Delray was an unforgettable experience that effortlessly combined exceptional cuisine, outstanding service, and a welcoming ambiance. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm and inviting energy that set the tone for a wonderful evening. Our waiter, Adam, was outstanding. His attentive service and friendly demeanor perfectly matched the upscale yet relaxed atmosphere of Akira Back. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, enhancing our dining experience with his charm and professionalism. The general manager, Helvio, also stopped by our table to check in, adding a personal touch with his warmth and outgoing nature, making us feel right at home. We started our meal with the Octopus Carpaccio and Grilled Octopus—both dishes showcased the delicate flavors of the seafood with expertly balanced seasonings. Moving on to sushi, we enjoyed the Protein Roll and Baked Crab Roll, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The highlight of the night was the King Crab Legs, which were incredibly tender and rich, leaving a lasting impression on our palates. The Miso Black Cod was another standout, featuring a silky, melt-in-your-mouth texture complemented by a subtle miso glaze. To accompany the meal, I had the Summer of Love cocktail, a delightful mix with just the right hint of passion fruit and mezcal, while my wife enjoyed the Hani Jin, a refreshing gin-based cocktail with hibiscus notes that perfectly balanced sweet and floral flavors. We ended on a sweet note with the AB Cigar dessert and the Apple Harumaki. The AB Cigar, with its smoked Japanese whiskey ice cream and chocolate brownie, was a unique and decadent treat, while the Apple Harumaki provided a comforting finish with its cinnamon and vanilla gelato combination. Akira Back in Delray goes beyond just dining; it’s a complete experience that blends culinary artistry with impeccable service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Greeted by a friendly and polite hosted and quickly escorted to our table. We were offered two table choices. Server, Carissa approached the table with a bright smile and warm welcome. She was very knowledgeable about the menu choices and even remembered us from a previous visit. So personable and friendly. All of our variety of menu choices were deliciously prepared and explained by the person who delivered the item. Akira Back has multiple kitchens and food runners. I have never had a bad experience here. Definitely one of our favorite places to dine.
