Over 7 years, Chef Bas and his partners created several unique dining culinary experiences in Miami.

Opened in 8/18/18, Ahi Sushi Bar is an authentic Omakase style Japanese experience. Omakase is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef choose your order. Omakase or “I leave it to you,” includes fresh fish, seasonal vegetables and ingredients.

Ahi Sushi will also serve fresh sushi, sashimi and traditional poke bowls for lunch.
Seatings for Omakase dining experience is every hour and a half starting at 6pm.

Incredible omakase experience! The chef and his assistant were sweet and attentive, the vibe of this little 6-seater restaurant was so cozy, and the sushi were all each amazing pieces, my favorite being a scallop & uni bite. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a little date night.

Outstanding sushi and experience is so unique. Much of the fish is from Japan and there are only six seats in a very small restaurant next to a Pizza Hut on Calle Ocho. If you want a beautiful setting go somewhere else but if you want the best sushi you can find go to Ahi. Bring your own wine or sake as they only have one to choose from. Highly recommend.

Love the restaurant! Small, cozy and the food was fresh and delicious. Service is superb. Must reserve because they are only 6 chairs at the bar.

A hidden gem…the sushi was fresh & delish! A whole in the wall on 8street - Miami, small & quaint, but looking forward to returning. Very chill & accommodating, BYOB 🫶🏻

The food quality was really amazing. They only offer one type of sale which is very nice but costs $120 for a large bottle. We ended up paying over $450 for 2 people. For a small, simple place like this I would not expect to pay this much. There are better options in Miami at this price point.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! We did the 10-course and everything just kept getting better. Flavor profile was outstanding. Definitely going back.
