   Very good food and service was wonderful. Our server took the entire order without a pen and remembered everything. The view was amazing. Thank you.

   Aera is another great addition to Oliver & Bonacini’s lineup. The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, with a dark, modern style that felt both stylish and inviting. It’s a good spot for a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends. The service was excellent, largely thanks to our fantastic waitress, who went out of her way to make the evening enjoyable. The food was very good, and while the presentation wasn’t particularly memorable, it was perfectly fine overall. Unfortunately, the night started off on the wrong foot due to an unpleasant interaction with the hostess. As we arrived, she bluntly told us, “I will need the table by 9.” For a party of two on a romantic date, with a reservation made in advance, this felt unnecessary and left a bad first impression. I understand the need for table turnover, but there are better ways to handle this without making guests feel unwelcome. Thankfully, the excellent service from our waitress helped turn things around. If it weren’t for her, the hostess’s comment might have overshadowed the experience. I hope management takes note and ensures guests are greeted more warmly in the future. Overall, Aera delivers on atmosphere, service, and food quality, but there’s definitely room for improvement in how guests are welcomed.

   Seating arrangement is poor. Arrived at 5:30 to a pretty quiet dining area but was placed dead middle of 2 other groups. I asked to be moved before being seated and host called front desk but said "no unfortunately this is all we have" We sat over 1.5 hours and watched the dining room not fill up. 2 other groups ended up coming and had the same reaction being placed right beside us. I understand if it's a packed night/time but hearing other people's conversation over our own is annoying. We ordered: Drinks: Old Fashion and French 75 rating 10/10 Food: Sushi 7/10 I had to use the soya sauce Rigatonino 7/10 bland crumbs over take the dish Whipped Mashed Potatoes 10/10 Cornbread 5/10 werid tasting Ambiance of the enterance and walk way to the dining area 10/10 Washrooms 6/10 basic not tidy soap dispenser not on the walls just the brackets indicating they were once there. Method hand soap provided. Pretty basic for a higher end place. Service 6/10 waiter was not personable lots of different people coming at you with drinks/ food and clearing the table.

   Great spot for the ambiance and view, unfortunately food was pretty lacklustre, small portion sizes. The staff were great and very friendly

   Just so much attitude at the front desk and just being ignored all around. I can spend $2000 easy at a restaurant and tip 20% just on good service and attitude and last night it was poor!

   food is ok. the service is not great. i called to let them know we were running late since it was snowing and they were quick to tell us that we would be seated by the bar if we were late. our server only visited our table twice; to take our order and bring our bill and wasn’t super pleasant/welcoming as you would expect from a “nice” restaurant. We came for a birthday and my friend tried to ask the server if they had any candles if we were to order dessert which she was so quick to tell us we have to pay for it (which of course we planned on). on the way out we tried asking a girl at the host stand where the washroom was and she just rudely pointed it. the nicest staff in the restaurant was probably the guy that came to fill up our water one time. i was excited to have a nice birthday dinner but no one made our visit great or even pleasant to be honest. i wouldn’t bother spending your time here unless you really like the food.

    Great view but that’s about it. Restaurant was not that busy, lots of tables by the windows, when I asked for one they advised that you’d have to reserve far iin advance or thee was an extra charge. Our dinner was $500 for two, and they wanted an extra charge for an available window seat? Steak came, my wine order did not. Service was slow. Asked for recommendations and he basically just read me the menu. Heard great things, but I wasn’t impressed. For the money, lots of other great options.
