Dining at the Adair is always something special. We started out with the mushrooms stuffed with venison. Outstanding! My wife had the lamb and I had the chicken Normandy. Both were awesome. Our server, Haley, was attentive and extremely helpful with our wine selection and entrée options. All in all, a wonderful night out.

My husband and I went to Adair Inn for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. Kelly took good care of us and was attentive while not hovering. We have been to Adair for dinner several times and will continue to visit. Thanks!!

Okay I did the review of The Inn now I'll do the review of the food. We started off in a couple of salads I had the romaine wedge Caesar style salad. My spouse had the standard house salad. Both were excellent and fresh. For my main I had the roasted haddock it was obviously fresh haddock not frozen. Frozen frequently has a somewhat bland flavor that has plenty of flavor. Richard had the pork saltimbucco. It was a huge portion he had a hard time finishing it off. For dessert he had the chocolate cake which is highly recommended. Remind you Richard is a professional pastry chef. The cake was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Richard felt that a raspberry compote would have added a lot to the cake and I tend to agree with him. For myself I had the chocolate chip cookie sundae which was excellent. I do fine with what I call plain desserts and that was a really good standard dessert. Plenty of cookie plenty of caramel plenty of chocolate plenty of ice cream plenty of whipped cream there you have it. Overall it was a very good meal and I would most certainly have it again. I kind of wish they'd offer beef tenderloin as opposed to the ribeye. Ribeye tends to be very fatty. And I prefer my steaks to be very lean. Again overall it was a very good meal and I would definitely have it again. The staff was excellent they didn't hover over you but they did stop by from time to time to see how you were enjoying your meal.

We have eaten at the Adair every October for 15 years and look forward to going up to NH each year. Eating at the Adair is a major part of our trip. I highly recommend visiting and even staying at the Inn.

food was fabulous, however, not sure if the white and green strip squash on my plate was to be eaten or garnish. I did try it and it was not something i would try again. be sure to turn your cell phones off if you are going to be in any of the dinning areas inside. We met the owner she was as lovely as the inn...
