The cuisine at Chef Jean-Georges’ abc kitchen reflects a passionate commitment to the freshest organic and local ingredients possible. The restaurant’s changing menu focuses on local, sustainable, seasonal produce that does not use pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, or GMOs. Meat, fish, and dairy are locally sourced where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. A rooftop garden provides herbs and microgreens.     Delicious not pretentious food with a nice subtle asian twist. Menu is a bit basic for my taste. Good service as expected. Great ambiance and vibe. I didn’t like the table were to close to each other. Overall great experience.

    Beautiful restaurant with outstanding service. The food is spotty. The fried chicken was dried and overcooked - had to send it back. The sweet potato bread was bland and in desperate need of the delicious accompanying herb butter. The burger was very good but hardly "the best in the city" as our server informed us. The mushroom pizza with it's bountiful array of earthy, "freshly foraged" mushrooms atop a crispy wheat crust was excellent. The fact that you pay a king's ransom for the pleasure of dining at this Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant made it somewhat disappointing. I'm happy I went but wouldn't go back.
