We had afternoon tea for mothers day and it was such a fab experience. Staff were amazing and overall such a mice treat. We also got gift bags which was so taughtful.

Had a table booked. Had to wait 10 mins to be seated then has menus thrown at us. Then ignored for another 10 mins before we left and had lunch elsewhere

Walked in and no one to tell us to sit or wait or anything. Then eventually sat ourselves and didnt get approached with menus for ages, we had to go and get them ourselves. When we eventually got our food, no one came anywhere near us, to see if we needed anything or if anything was okay. Service needs to be improved big time!!

Evening meal was delightful. Hot breakfast was lovely, however, the Continenal breakfast table was very sparce. People had to constantly ask for items to be refilled. Bread was at a premium and there was not really much choice of fruit or cereals. A little bit of a let down.

The staff here are just brilliant. Friendly and helpful and very attentive. The food was excellent - had seafood chowder, ham hock, chicken curry and fish n chips. I would definitely recommend Abbey Court for dining.

Excellent food and staff were very friendly and efficient. Expresso martinis were beautiful and huge! The restaurant itself though doesn’t give the same vibes as the hotel. The decor ie tables and chairs and floor look abit scruffy and in need of an update. Would def eat here again if we were in the area and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Despite having booked the table , when we arrived we discovered that the restaurant was mainly operating as an annex to the bar. It was poorly decorated and understaffed. There was no table service. We reluctantly queued with our trays. We arrived to the top of queue to find there was no more food. This is no way to run a restaurant on a Sunday in a reputable hotel. Our previous experiences in the Abbey Court had always been excellent. Please rectify our Sunday restaurant policy.
