   This little gem is a great addition to the Cape Ann restaurant scene. The interior is warm, calm and inviting. We were greeted by a friendly, attentive host, who confirmed we were celebrating a birthday. The menu has interesting twists on familiar dishes. Our waitress was very friendly and eager to take our order. We had to send her away 3 times as weren’t prepared to order. After placing our order our waitress chose to inform me that “the kitchen might be out of scallops” and “did I want something else? I suggested that perhaps she confirm with the kitchen. She came back and confirmed that there were no scallops and asked “what my second choice was”? I asks to see a menu, (that she didn’t bring). Bringing back the menu I placed a second choice. Only for our waitress to come back and inform us that my second choice was unavailable. (This time she remembered to bring the menu with her). We joked and congratulated them on being busy. The third choice was the charm. Our appetizers were tasty and interesting. Our entrees delicious! The desserts really yummy. We were a bit disappointed that decaf coffee isn’t offered. We enjoyed our experience but felt a little rushed towards the end. One of our entrees was comp’t (we did however tip our waitress on the full amount). Given the prices etc a slightly more polished wait staff would be helpful. We will definitely return! And will recommend 35 Beach to everyone.

   It was our first time at 35 Beach. We were seated in the bar area instead of the main restaurant. We will have to request that main area next time. The food and the service were good. Overall, it was a nice restaurant, and we would definitely return for another dining experience.

   Excellent food…fabulous tempura app…very good Salmon and Harvest Bowl..the coconut rice the best we have ever had. High grades on the martini…Very good service by server Jacob

   The owners have done a wonderful job updating the space. Our dinners and cocktails were all excellent and the staff is very welcoming. My new favorite place!

   The food was excellent!! Beautifully presented and soooo good. Beautiful setting in Manchester by the Sea. This restaurant is a rare gem on the north shore.
