   We had a reservation for 6 to celebrate my husband's birthday and my mom's birthday. The restaurant staff easily accommodated the requests I made in advance for a birthday toast surprise and were very communicative about it. The ambiance is lovely and there was a moderate noise level due to a huge party of people sitting near us, but it wasn't unpleasant. Normally, I don't think it would be quite so loud anyway. The food was unbelievably good and exceeded our high expectations, making the drive into the city so worth it. The prices aren't bad compared to a similar-type steakhouse in NJ that we visit frequently. Lastly, our waiter Oscar's service was award-worthy. If there were Oscar awards for excellence in hospitality service, he would win! We will be back!

   I went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. He loved it! I did too. We had the octopus as an appetizer, and it was so soft. It was amazing! We had the Porterhouse for Two with lobster Mac and the creamed spinach… it was mouthwatering. The steak was made to perfection. We definitely enjoyed our time and he enjoyed his birthday dinner.

   What an amazing experience- our server George was entertaining and truly caring and helpful. The food was extraordinary and has set the bar high for quality meat from now on.

   This steakhouse offers a great experience overall. The food was tasty, and the place had a quiet, classy atmosphere. The service was fast, we were served and finished in 45 minutes, and they kept your water refilled regularly. Plus, parking was conveniently right next door. If you’re looking for good food, a nice setting, and quick service, this place is a great choice.

   It’s really hard to find a steakhouse in Manhattan that has halal items on their menu. Luckily for us, there were 4 items that were halal including the Sirloin and the t-Bone. Both Wagyu and both delicious. We also loved the broccoli which was infused in garlic and olive oil. So good! Definitely will go back, especially for the Sirloin! So so good!

   Very good steak house, will go back for sure. It’s not one of these giant places with hundreds of tables so you get personalized service. We had the Kobe steak and it was excellent. They do need to update the online menu as they have changed from kosher steaks to Halal steaks also available in addition to regular steaks. The tuna crudo was excellent, the onion soup good and thick.

   Let me start by saying that the service was wonderful. From the moment I sat down, it was clear that the manager was doing it all—bartending, serving and handling everything else at the beginning of the evening. I appreciated the hustle. I was really looking forward to a quality steak dinner before catching the Acela and my order included half a dozen oysters, a Wagyu ribeye (which was listed as halal) and potatoes au gratin. The oysters were fine, nothing too remarkable but the potatoes were the highlight of the meal—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly done. Unfortunately, the ribeye was underwhelming. It lacked the rich flavor I expect from Wagyu and honestly, it tasted more like a lower quality choice cut. I’ve had steak from all regions and this just didn’t meet the standard. I’m not sure if the halal preparation had something to do with it but in my opinion, this shouldn’t be marketed as Wagyu. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen, especially given the positive reviews I’ve read but overall, the steak didn’t deliver.

    This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. The food was so delicious and cooked exactly the way wanted it. Our server was so nice and attentive. When my son dropped the potatoes we ordered on the floor the server brought us more free of charge. The whole experience was awesome.We will definitely be back to this restaurant.
