   The food and service at 1909 was excellent. Out waitstaff was top notch. I highly recommend the Monkey Bread to start off brunch! Will definitely be back to enjoy again!

   The 1909 was a charming and delicious experience. The Bento Box was awesome! Out waitstaff was excellent and the ambience of the room was very warm and relaxing.

   The overall experience was excellent from the food to the service (in my case Karla had an excellent attitude and knowledge of the menu therefore she gave me better recommendations). Probably my only nitpick would be that some (not all) of the food was slightly cold.

   Brunch was wonderful. I’ve never seen French toast served like that. Definitely enough for 2 people.

   1909 is a lovely, high-end restaurant, certainly the best in and around Cooperstown, with an expectedly high price. We have dined there many times, and have become accustomed to near-perfection overall; we have never been disappointed. This particular time though, our dining ended with a panna cotta dessert that was an assemblage of bits that did not seem to form a coherent whole, including a bit that seemed like fruit leather that was so tough as to be inedible. The maître-d recognized that -- apparently we were not the first ones to order that dessert that evening, and he offered us the same part of the dessert that was supposed to be "crisper". It really wasn't, and it would have been better to start over for a dessert without that bit, but it was not offered. Still, the appetizer and main course outshone the odd dessert.

    The service was even better than the food, which was spectacular. Took my husband here for his 60th birthday celebration and the only thing I could possibly say remotely negative is that I didn’t like the color of the room. Lol. We tried several different “beginnings“, two entrées, two desserts and shared everything, so we got to try a lot of different dishes. Our favorites were the smoked ravioli, tartare, PB&J and the ribeye special.  Cannot wait to have our next celebration at 1909.  Our server was absolutely wonderful.  She made the occasion feel very special.
