169 is a licensed venue open weekends only for coffee and all day breakfast and lunch.
Our iconic location on the corner of William St and Darlinghurst Rd has a rich history. We sit proudly on the border between Kings Cross and Darlinghurst and have some of the best people watching in town.
Our dog friendly terrace is the perfect outdoor area and along with our bar and dining room, stylishly designed and filled with large scale artworks by George Raftopoulos, you can find an area that suits any needs.

We eat at 169 quite regularly and it's consistently good. The menu is varied and fresh - lots of lovely healthy options, as well as a delicious brunch menu and excellent Bloody Marys. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the food is reasonably priced.

Our waitress made the experience for us. She was attentive and friendly throughout. The food was yummy and the drinks free flowing. We sat outside and it was lovely!

Overall the food was on. Nothing special but an ok brunch. The experience was very bad. Very slow service. When we asked the waitress after 15 mins of waiting for one extra coffee, her response was ‘today’s key word is patience’. When I’m paying 25 dollars for eggs, this is unacceptable (in general, unacceptable service even if I was paying 5$)

Its my fave brunch spot in Sydney! If you want a great arvo with the girls, definitely go here! The food is delicious, bottomless mimosas done correctly, service immaculate! See you again in 4wks! LOL
