   Dining on the deck gives you a sunset view of the Caribbean. The menu had a variety of options - the fresh catch of the day was amazing as was my cocktail! Best dinner we had on island!

   The ambiance was perfect. We ordered the Johnny Cakes as starters and they did not come. When out entree was brought out, we informed the waiter that we'd still like the Johnny cakes. They were still not brought out. We remined him again that we'd take them to go, and we got them finally!! The server was very polit, but it would have been nice to have the complete meal as we wanted it.

   The food was very good but we were surprised our server asked us if we wanted our margaritas made with gin or rum (????). Then he brought us iced drinks when we had clearly specified "we want them UP, no ice, no salt". Other than that, all good!

   We had a beautiful and most tasteful dinner. The view of the ocean was wonderful as we sat on the outside deck. Our server Keith was attentive and also gave us the history of the area. Our food was delicious, the grouper, the seafood pasta, and the blue cheese crusted filet mignon (which you could cut with a butter knife) were all exceptional. Do not miss out on this gem!

   First, the best thing-Kelly our server was fantastic. She made us feel at home without being pushy. Recommended things on the menu and was just overall superb! Food was tasty. WE got artichoke pizza with the intent to have leftovers-which we did and warmed up the next day-which was just as tasty. Our meal of grouper was delicious and our desert (light/berry cake) was perfect. Overall, would dine again and recommend Kelly! Kelly even recommended restaurants in other settlements, we might enjoy (Wild orchid in Rock Sound-which we did!)

   Another great dinner at 1648. Just continues to be one of the best restaurants in Eleuthera. It’s a must visit.

   My favorite place in Eleuthera! The service is always great and the view is outstanding. The food, however is OK. Lol. Three out of four dinners last night were unbelievably salted. But still worth the visit. And the band last evening was wonderful. ❤️

   Unbelievable view. Food and cocktails were only ok. More than $300 for dinner. Portions were large. Dessert was amazing.

    We had a wonderful time watching the sunset and enjoying friendly and efficient service from Kelly our waitress. This is a spot to enjoy the sunset and star gaze. We ordered the Jonny Cakes, Caesar salad with lobster tail and the catch of the day Grouper. Kelly was able to customize our order so that we got the sides we preferred. Dessert a large selection was very good to finish off the night.
