   We ordered 4 shareable plates for 2 of us. It was plenty of food. My husband particularly enjoyed the Crab Cake (made in-house) which is always a benchmark dish for him. My favorite was the Duet of Octopus. We ordered the Curried Cauliflower which was very tasty but no curry flavor .... chili oil and a Marie Rose sauce maybe drizzled around. Our least favorite was the Mushrooms with Foie on Toast - the mushrooms overwhelmed the foie gras but it was a nice try. We really enjoyed trying the different plates and that is part of the fun. Service was attentive - shout out to Lisa!

   It was such a beautiful holiday breakfast with my daughter and nieces who have never been to the Beauport , the Christmas decorations were not to be believed ! Simply gorgeous! The breakfast was outstanding and our waiter was so friendly. It was a fantastic experience

   Very nice tastefully decorated for the holidays. Views were very nice and service was very good, but lets say that our stomachs were a little upset once we returned home.

   Great food, and our server Jim was very good and attentive to our needs. However, the highlight of our evening was meeting Faye, the hostess. She was excellent in getting us settled in and delightful in making us feel welcome and appreciated as return diners at the 1606. We wish her every success in her career in the Hospitality Industry.    Started off with an ocean side table, and everything even got better after that! Explained to the server, who was excellent, that we would order appetizers, and then order our main course when they arrived. This was based on last year's (same day - 12/24/23) experience; she had no issue with it and did not rush us at all. Mussels were even better than last year; the added squash was enjoyed by everyone. All of the food was prepared as ordered, and was excellent, and the desserts exceeded our expectations. Great place for any occasion, especially those family special occasions. Strongly recommend - we will be back!!

    My fiancé & I had lunch here on Saturday & it was a delightful experience. I ordered the beet salad & the Autumn Harvest pizza, & he order the Caesar salad & the Gloucester Rachel sandwich. Everything was fresh & perfectly cooked. Our waitress was friendly & attentive & restaurant has a stunning ocean view which adds to the ambiance. We really enjoyed our lunch date & plan on going back.
