   We usually like this restaurant so we thought NYE would be a great night to have dinner out. BIG mistake. Our reservation time was not honored- we waited 40 minutes for our table. The food was not seasoned properly. My risotto was super salty and the steak fettuccini almost tasted like chef-boyardee. I normally never leave reviews but we were just so disappointed. The staff was overwhelmed and tables were left uncleared/untouched for very long periods of time after patrons left. For a big night like NYE they were not staffed sufficiently. The bar was popping and we couldn't get close enough to order a drink while we waited. Never again.

   Generally this restaurant is above average. Had reservations for New Year’s Eve. Staff was clearly overwhelmed. Showed on time, stood around for over 30 minutes while hostess alternated between ignoring us and talking in circles. We reserved inside seating and were seated outside. Mentioned to waiter we were off to a rocky start and he assured us that he would talk to mgmt. and they would “do something.” That “something”never materialized. Ended evening by asking for to go boxes, he said “they were out” so we left empty handed. I dropped $210 before tip. Didn’t take it out on waiter or bartender, tipped out both well. We won’t be back.

   New Years Eve, so gave fair allowance for how busy it was and assuming some staff called out. Our server was assigned too many tables given what the service level should have been for the price. Food was ok; soup and salad were good but the filet should have been better for the price. Desert was top notch; crème brûlée and cookie with ice cream. We were going to order coffee with it but we’d been there 2.5 hours and this is not Italy.

   A beautiful restaurant with and ideal menu offering. Fallon was a wonderful server. Food was good. We can’t wait to return.

   Fine dining experience was awesome. Service was over the top. I highly recommend the chocolate crème brûlée!! It was amazing!!

   Very solid restaurant with excellent preparations of some standard (for the area) dishes. The tempura fried fish was outstanding.

   1509 Brunswick is a wonderful place to visit due to its excellent food, service and views that are unmatched. Located in the heart of downtown, it offers beautiful views of the waterfront and the historic downtown area of Brunswick. Along with the beautiful views that 1509 Brunswick offers, the food and the service are unmatched as well. My wife and I absolutely cannot wait to return to take in the breathtaking views, and the wonderful food and service. Thank you again 1509 Brunswick for making our night both special and perfect!!!

    Dined in outside dining area. Even though a cold night they created a very nice space with heaters. My friends and I really like 1509 but it is a little pricey. If they could just adjust prices a little bit… we’d go much more often. As an example, my friend’s Grey Goose martini was $20! Food good but small portions for the price. My salmon was cooked well done even though I ordered medium. (They were extremely busy that night.) But we love the atmosphere there. Had a great server. People at the front to greet and seat us were really personable and welcoming. They’ve done a great job creating that restaurant space.
