    Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Service was not okay - my husbands beverage was empty for 15 minutes before offered another. Water glasses sat empty for a while, we weren’t asked how our meals were, quite frankly felt like we were an inconvenience. Ambiance was nice.

    We had a wonderful waiter and great service overall. However it took us a good hour to receive our food and it was tough to wait that long with our two young children. The food was great but the waiting was off putting.

    147 is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. The food is delicious (they just won the Top Chef Barrie Award this year) and the ambience is lively and upbeat. Service is terrific with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY 147.

    We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The pizza was dripping oil on the sideways, and the top, bottom, and everywhere else was covered in grease. The lobster pasta was fishy, overpriced, and had broken pieces of shell in it. To make matters worse, our food arrived about an hour late, even though we had made a reservation well in advance. The waiter ignored us most of the night, and the overall experience was horrendous. Save your money and go somewhere else.

    Wonderful experience. Always wanted to come and try this spot in the heart of Barrie. The food was incredible and the ambiance was outstanding. Will be back for sure and highly recommend this place to others.
