    Wonderful experience. Always wanted to come and try this spot in the heart of Barrie. The food was incredible and the ambiance was outstanding. Will be back for sure and highly recommend this place to others.

    The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating. We decided to dine "family style" and shared our meal. Perhaps a wise decision since their portions are quite healthy! For us, the standout was the fritura mista ... it was light, delicious, and seasoned to perfection! The chicken marsala was well balanced with grilled seasonal vegetables and, as requested, not overtly heavy on the marsala cream sauce. Lastly, our server Tony was incredible. He was very attentive to a fault and delicately orchestrated our entire dining experience! We will be back the next time we visit Barrie!

    Our experience was outstanding. Felt as if we were visiting family. Food was great. Portion sizes were grand and very satisfying. We will definitely return again and again. Booking with the open table app really makes it simple to make a reservation and we were grateful for the notification’s. Easy ten on ten experience.

    We had an okay experience. Restaurant was very loud so we were practically yelling at each other. Food was good, nothing special though for typical Italian fare. The frustrating part was we made a reservation for 7:15 for two people and did not get seated until 7:50. Seemed a bit unreasonable and all we received was one “sorry”.

    It was my first time at 147, and the experience was great overall. Service is amazing. Best I've had in recent memory. Our server, Tony, was attentive, but not too attentive, so it was just right. He even caught on to the hint when I mentioned that it was my wife's birthday, and he brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle without me asking. Seriously, great situational awareness. The food is fantastic. I ordered the chicken parmesean, and my wife had the chicken marsala. Both meals are flavourful, delicious, and filling. The portion size is huge, and the price is very reasonable. The only constructive thing I have to say is that the music is way too loud. There's really no need to have loud music in a place like this. I will eat here again.

    Always a great experience. The Melangrano Salad & Chicken Marsala was outstanding. Espresso martini’s - next level. Special appearance by Foti makes it a fun night!
