Portland opened in 2015 and received a Michelin star the same year - which we have retained to this day. We try to offer the best contemporary example of fine dining in London – the finest produce we can find cooked with precision and a high level of technique led by our executive chef Stuart Andrew and head chef Chris Bassett and his team.

We offer a la carte and also a Tasting Menu at lunch and dinner.

Wine is as important as food and service at Portland. Our main wine list aims to offer brilliant value on interesting, different wines which we hope you seldom see on restaurant wine lists. Our Single Bottle List contains bins of some of the world’s finest wines and also more accessible offerings from our favourite producers.

Apart from the main restaurant, we hope that our private room and its offer of secluded and separate dining is just the thing for special family events or business meetings.

I was greeted by a lovely congratulations card signed by all the staff for being cured from cancer and celebrating with my stem cell donor, making the evening even more special. Lovely place, attentive and delicious. My guests were very impressed and I was as happy as I could ever be!

Truly excellent cooking and service by an experienced and knowledgeable team. The open kitchen reveals the artistry and dedication at work. Short but varied and interesting menu. Prices match the high quality all round making it out of reach for most unfortunately unless for a special occasion or treat. It was full so clearly has no shortage of admirers, and we've added ourselves to that list.

A very busy Wednesday lunchtime at Portland, and it is not surprising! There were a few new surprises on the menu - my favourite was the Baron Bigod and Truffle, which has got to be the best I have had anywhere (please keep hold of this as long as you can). As always, the service was attentive, friendly and there to make your Portland experience an experience! Great job Team Portland!
