The food was very mediocre. We started with Edamame which was over steamed and poorly seasoned with some biscuits and honey. Both underwhelming. They offer a special snow Negroni that was awful. After telling my GF how bad it was in front of the waiter, I had to ask him on a separate visit and to get me something else. They placed us at a two person table that was directly in the sun. I asked to be moved to an adjacent two person table in which they told me it had been reserved. After complaining they moved me to a 4 top not in the sun. 20 mins later, there were two people seated at the table we asked to sit at. When I left, I asked them what they did to request such a prime table and they laughed and said nothing we just made a reservation yesterday. The manager/hostess had a massive attitude and with 13 empty tables, also refused to reseat another guest. The Tiramisu was good and the bison chili. The rest was mediocre at best.

We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years however in the past few years seen a great decline in food quality and service. It was, IMO one of the only restaurants on the mountain that was any good at all and after our experience yesterday we will not be dining there ever again. Not only had the menu shrunk but our food was terrible. My salad looked so wilted like it had been prepped overnight and set in the cooler, it had no flavor either. Apparently there are not enough service staff because they literally run from table to table and service is slow and highly impersonal.

It took the food an hour to come and was terrible when it got there. Our lamb burgers were grossly undercooked and inedible but we had already been there so long and missed so much skiing that we just asked them to take them off the bill and left the restaurant hungry. It was an all around huge bummer and disappointment.

Our reservation was made weeks ago and we planned our day in Jackson Hole around traveling to Teton Village in time to take the gondola up for our 1pm lunch. Upon arriving there was a pricey fee for parking and as we walked to the stationary gondola we inquired why it wasn’t running. The answer was that it wasn’t running and the restaurant was not even open. Our reservation had just been confirmed thru Open Table the day before. While looking for a phone number I saw a message on Open Table from a couple hours prior canceling our lunch but no other communication was attempted. We would have made other plans if given notice at least the night before.
