I had eaten at Legacy Kitchen Tackle Box a couple of times, so I was nearby this one & decided to give it a try. It was a Monday evening, & the place had few customers. It took a few minutes for the waitress to get to me, but that was OK because she was the only wait staff working. Once she did get to me, she was very engaging & entertaining, with a good knowledge of the menu. I ordered a Honey Old Fashioned, which she brought out in short order. It was really, really good, especially if you like yours on the sweeter side, but it had a certain richness to it that did it for me. I had adequate time to enjoy my drink before food arrived (but not excessive). I didn't see an entree that really grabbed me, so I went with a Firecracker Shrimp Toss (very tasty) & the Seared Tuna salad (also good; the tuna was actually seared, not overcooked). Combined, the two were quite filling. For the quality of the cocktail & food I had, I'd say it was a good value. Appearance-wise, the place has good vibe, so I'm not sure why it wasn't busier (NOLA seemed a little quiet, admittedly). I'd like to see them add a bit to the entrees, & some oysters would be good too, but all in all it was a solid visit & meal.
