- KKioniVIPNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoIt is a fantastic restaurant, from the Hostess, Server, and Manager. The service was terrific, and the food was delicious! We had the Porter House, lobster mashed potatoes, and the sauteed mushrooms. A definite reco if you have not tried Christos.More infoChristos Steak HousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Astoria•4.8
- AAutumnNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI dined here for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday with my mother in law. It was all of our first time at Cafe d’Alsace. The food was nothing short of amazing. For appetizers we got steak tartar, terrine de canard and homemade gnocchi. The gnocchi was so good we got a second bowl to share. I got the Grilled Scottish Salmon, my husband got Steak Frites (the fries are amazing!) and my MIL got Canard A L’Orange which was very tender and cooked to perfection. Apart from the food the staff was wonderful as well!More infoCafe d'AlsacePrice: Moderate• French• Upper East Side•4.7

- EEvonNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Feb 2025My family and I went to Tru Astoria last night for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The Tru team was very welcoming and the service was excellent. The music and the vibe were so awesome. We ordered appetizers (Fried calamari, Caesar salad and grilled octopus). The portions were all large and very tasty. For dinner we ordered Spicy Rigatoni, Tru Burger with fries, Salmon with cilantro mashed potatoes and Lamp Chops with lemon potatoes. OMG! Everything was so delicious!!!! I didn’t have dessert (because I was too full) but my husband and sons did. They had the cheesecake topped with blueberries and strawberries on the side and a chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream. They enjoyed their desserts very much! The staff even surprised my husband with birthday torches which made him feel special. The owner even came over to thank us for dining there and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed the food. We missed the live music which was going to start around 10 pm but we left around 9:30 pm. We will DEFINITELY be going back there. Great celebration restaurant. Tip: Street parking is not that great in the area but there is a Municipal Parking lot a couple blocks away on 33rd Street right off Ditmars.More infoTRU AstoriaPrice: Moderate• American• Ditmars Steinway•4.7
