Best Canadian Restaurants in Guelph

We had lunch, my friend had the chicken bowl, and I had the grilled chicken chibata with fries. Everything, including the fries was top notch!! We both thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon. There was a VERY loud table beside us, but other than that, would highly recommend the Friendly Society. The service was also very friendly! We will be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at the Mill. The historic buildings, both inside and out, are gorgeous. And the food! It was a pleasure to have an expansive buffet offered. Everything was presented in a charming yet elegant way. The seafood (freshly shucked oysters, large shrimp, smoked salmon, mussels, crab legs), and plenty of it, was a highlight for us. But the carvery station with baked ham and roast beef and roast pork with old-fashioned crackling was equally yummy! The service and attention to detail really shine. And a big part of that was due to our server, Candace. She was simply wonderful. Thank you all. Our 50th wedding anniversary tour continues, but this was a highlight.

We weren't sure what to expect, but chose this restaurant on the basis of it's menu, which we viewed online. We waited about 5 minutes for our table, but happily spent it at the great bookstore in the building. Our server Liam was courteous, fun and very attentive. The place was quite full so we were glad we had reserved in advance. The vibe was trendy and comfortable, and the food ( trout, beef cheek, pizza, beer salad,peanut butter pie) was 👌👌. We absolutely will come again.

Jen Agg has done it again - this restaurant might be her best yet. Absolutely a delight to dine there. The decor is warm and in her signature style and the food — THE FOOD!! Amazingly delicious and unique in their own “English gastro pub” homage. We all ordered different things and everyone was pleased with their dishes. The cocktails - on point. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice date night. Didn't have kale for kale Caesar and sub mixed greens which did not work at all :( Server was very pleasant but service was a tad slow. Enjoyed our day night
