- DDonnaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoRick and I ordered the price fix menu We started with the pear, grape Gorgonzola with pine nut salad, the main was duck( cooked perfectly)with thin potatoes. The dessert was pudding like made with yogurt. Honestly, it was one of the most scrumptious meals ever. My husband even commented on how many yums were coming out of my mouth. The service was very good.More infoLULU - Los AngelesPrice: Moderate• Californian• Westwood•4.8

You shouldn't spend extra to get sweet potato fries or whatever else they offer. Our service was excellent. Heat was blasting us but it was turned off immediately after our request. Prices extremely reasonable.More infoGranville - West HollywoodPrice: Moderate• American• West Hollywood•4.7
- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoShirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoAh, Manual LA, the hidden gem nestled in the vibrant art district where parking is a bit challenging ! Who doesn't love a limited-time weekend affair where reservations are as essential as your morning coffee? Trust me, you'll want to secure your spot in advance to avoid the dreaded waitlist of doom. As for the menu, prepare to be swept off your feet by the ocean trout tartare – it's a love letter to seafood that even Poseidon would approve of. The burrata is a creamy delight with delight cucumber that will make you question why you've ever eaten anything else. And then, there's the French toast, a carbohydrate devil that could easily moonlight as dessert. If you're someone who finds carbohydrates utterly captivating (and let's be honest, who isn't?), Manual LA is your carb-laden paradise.More infoManuelaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Downtown•4.8
