- CCarrieCincinnati / Dayton •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSecond time I’ve been here and the food and service were exceptional. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! We had the 45 day aged ribeye and the porterhouse.. both so good. Our table also had the Sea Bas and the Australian Waygu, in addition we got the potato volcano and brussel sprouts. The favorites for the table were the porterhouse and the brussel sprouts. The porterhouse is more than plenty to share for two people and than some. We added the bone marrow, it was good as I’ve never tried but more of a novelty to try, not a lot of substance. They brought out a complimentary pumpkin cheesecake as there was a birthday at our table. It was gobbled up, very creamy and delicious. Cocktails were a made to perfection as well. They have an extensive wine and bourbon list too. Top it off the views of Cincinnati are spectacular. Plan on spending a little money, especially if you get drinks as well but definitely worth the trip!More infoMRBLPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Bellevue•4.8
- AAndreaCincinnati / Dayton •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe sat at “counter seating” and I had my doubts because I felt it would be like bar type seating. For two people it is perfect seating. You can both see the action in the restaurant and yet be able to talk with each other. Our service was spectacular - multiple people checked in with us. Most people there were going to a show after dinner - like myself - the restaurant was on top of it. We did not feel rushed at all. The food was wonderful. We had fish and chips (not battered, but incredible) and shrimp and grits - both were fantastic. Our drinks were first rate as well. I had been here years ago and thought ‘it’s OK but with this visit (again many years later) I thought “I have to come back!”.More infoNicholson's Fine Food & Whisk(e)yPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Central Business District•4.6
