Best Seafood Restaurants in Farmington

The food is first class, the weight staff are knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. The food is expensive but definitely worth it for a special occasion.

Haven’t been for a few years but the return was worth it. The food was fabulous and the service was really attentive. Joe was our server and never had to ask for anything. It was almost as if he could read our minds. Had the scallops and as I remember them, melt in your mouth delicious. There were only two setbacks. The bread was actually cold. Would have been nice if at least warmed. And the room was a little noisy. Hard to hear my partner across the table. But other than that, a very pleasant evening out. Would highly recommend.

Omg, just when I didn’t think it could get any better, it did! We ate at Max’s about 2 months ago. Went again on our way home from skiing yesterday and I swear, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I got the same thing as last time…the baby kale and brussel salad and the trout almondine! Unbelievable! My husband got the Caesar and ordered swordfish grilled with a beurre blanc sauce, grilled asparagus and fingerling potatoes. As plain as that sounds, it was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and the sauce…all I can say is we will keep coming back. I have to find excuses to go there as we live in South Jersey. Also our server Jayden was fantastic! Very attentive! Love, love, love Max’s! I used to go just because of the oyster selection, but now it’s everything else!

Food was cooked to perfection! Drinks were delicious. Very nice meal!
