My wife pulled out her cell to see better and the waiter dropped a little night light on our table. It is one of the last old school steak restaurants in Boston. Great service as always and our waiter, Chris was outstanding. We shared a beet and goat cheese salad - perfect. I had the 16 oz NY strip steak. OMG - it was fabulous. Home fries on the side are always a must. My wife had chicken with some crisp, chunks of potatoes. I admit to stealing a few pieces from her plate. Delicious key lime pie for desert. It wasn’t that typical rushed and inattentive holiday experience. The octopus was tender. I ordered a ribeye. It arrived overcooked (reality is this can happen). Our server went above and beyond. Got me a new one and took care of a round of drinks. Thank you. The second steak was perfect. The wood grill adds a smokiness to the meat that’s unmatched.
