- LLarryvipNew York City •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoCelebrated my 64th birthday and this was one of my best experiences! The food was cooked just right and the service was excellent. Our servers name was Maxiell and she was absolutely terrific!! Maxiell printed out special birthday menus, took a beautiful picture for us, and helped make my birthday celebration an extra special one. I appreciate Maxiell, the manager, and the entire team for a wonderful dinner experience and of course the complimentary dessert!! Thank you all!!More infoMorton's The Steakhouse - White PlainsPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• White Plains•4.7

No pinot noir less than $100 and most $120+. Need to fix this. Next time I'll do corkage (unless that's $200 per.)More infoZ Prime Italian SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• White Plains•4.3

The waiter was friendly and the service was great. I would definitely dine there again.More infoGeorge Seafood & SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Greenwich•4.7
- NNicoleNew York State •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024My husband took me to Averna this week to celebrate my birthday. It was, by far, the best dining experience we've had since we moved to New York last year. The restaurant is upscale, but cozy and we felt at home here. From the greeting to the goodbye, the service was as amazing as the food. The entire staff made us feel like they really wanted to take care of us; the water glasses always full, attentive, but unobtrusive wait staff and bussers and the owner was a great host to everyone. Hubby had a beautiful ribeye and I had a gorgeous filet mignon; both cooked to medium rare perfection. We ordered maple bacon Brussels sprouts (addictively good), lobster mac & cheese ("OMG" good!) and grilled asparagus for the sides we shared. We started off with the light and delicious filet mignon carpaccio for our appetizer and for dessert we had coffee and split a caramel toffee cake. I'm not a big sweets person, but that cake was flipping amazing and the perfect way to end a birthday. I can't wait for our next visit. I've got my eye on the branzino!More infoAverna Italian SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Rye•4.9
