We always make a reservation and let them know the occasion (they will print a special menu with a Happy Birthday and Name) on top of it that you can take with you (at least in St. Louis location) just a nice little surprise. He ordered the 12oz. filet and added grilled shrimp and loaded baked potato. I ordered the sea bass and we shared lobster mac and cheese! Of course, I had lots of leftovers to take back to the hotel! We then enjoyed a few bites of white chocolate pecan bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and hot caramel sauce over all of it! FABULOUS 😋. The staff were friendly, attentive, and even though it was busy we never had to wait or ask for anything! We will definitely be returning! I was okay with that though because they had ample waiting seating and I could tell it was very busy. We ordered the calamari appetizer to start. The flavor was great, but the sauce made the breading soggy and the breading was falling off. We both agreed that we would have preferred the sauce on the side to dip in so that the breading would stay crispy. I got the petite filet and the baked potato, both were delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. The baked potato was sizable. I also had the Wild berry Lemonade cocktail and it was GREAT! One of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I had the strawberry salad with shrimp and it was huge and bursting with flavor. The noise level was very small in the bar, which is unusual but it made for an enjoyable evening with friends. Our waiter was new, Luke. However, he was attentive and did a great job.
