The maitre' de (however you spell that) was very pleasant and gave my date a rose to give to me. Because it was so crowded we didn't get the tableside experience, but the experience we did have was so nice that we will be returning. However the food was not up to its usual standards. The lamb chops were under cooked and the sides were luke warm. We didn’t want to send it back but it was just too much going on and we didn’t want to wait too much longer. Once sat down, we were greeted promptly got our drinks in and oysters. Our food and drinks were wonderful from beginning to end, but service was admittedly slow at first between the oysters and ordering our entrees. This couldn’t be helped, however, as they were packed so not docking points for a packed room on a holiday. We ended up getting our dessert to go, which we ate later and was great. Overall, a nice dinner for a special occasion as the service did take care of us with leftovers and getting things.
