The blue crab omelette was out of this world amazing. The thick cut bacon was something that could be a dish by itself. The wife got the French dip sub. The beef was perfect, the dip was on point . The horseradish dip was fire 🔥. The hand cut fries were perfectly salted and crisp. Now, our server AJ Calvin seemed disoriented and behind when he came and greeted our table. When he first introduced himself, he stated he was the host and would be bringing us water, which left us slightly confused about whether he was specifically our server or just a host. It also took a while to take our drink and appetizer orders. Once asked if he was our server, he swiftly corrected us and said he prefers to be called a host rather than a server. From there, the experience started to decline when he told jokes that honestly weren’t funny or humorous; his jokes bordered on unprofessional. There was a large convention in town and usually that causes individual attention to go out the window but not here. It was my 10 year old grandson’s birthday and they made him feel like a grown up. It was a magical experience worth every penny. I think this is the first time since COVID that I felt like we were actually having a fine dining experience. The food was fabulous we got the 3 tiered seafood tower - yes it is expensive but as far as a return on investment it was over the top. The presentation is impressive and each item was perfectly prepared. Ross and the rest of the staff went out of their way on a very busy night and I think we are going to make it an annual event.
